Dates Season on 21-23 September 2023

An interesting tourist trip over two days and one night, with accommodation in a local hotel, in which we tour the most important historical landmarks and date markets during the season in Qassim .

 Facts: Qassim is 350 km northwest of Riyadh. It is characterized by its central location between the other regions of the Kingdom and the Arabian Peninsula, with a population of 1,215,858 people, according to the 2010 census. It is considered the crossroads of commercial convoys from several directions, and the pilgrims’ convoys heading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and coming from Iraq and Kuwait pass through it. As a result, its markets have flourished. It includes 13 provinces rich in distinguished heritage, archaeological and historical sites, and the Qassim region is rich in its agricultural environment, palm plantations, and markets for dates and camels. Its cities are: Buraydah, Unaizah, Al-Rass, Al-Mithnab, Bukayriyah, Al-Bada’i, Al-Asyah, Al-Nabhaniya, Uyun Al-Jawa, Riyad Al-Khubra, Al-Shamasiyyah, Qusaiba, Al-Hilalia.

Thursday 21-9-2023

• Gathering at Alia Plaza. 
• @ 9:30 am Drive to the farm around 3:15 hr (326 km)
• On arriving, visit Al Muthnab heritage village, Hotel check in around 1:30 pm.
• Afternoon visit Uyun Al Jawa Grand Mosque, Antarah Ibn Shaddad Rock, strolling in the farms, parks enjoying the sunset in a distinctive agricultural environment.
• Dinner at Ajras restaurant, very nice location, good food made by a Saudi woman chef.

Friday 22-9-2023

• Early morning @ 6 am visit the Dates Market in Onaizah or AlBadaya, enjoy your breakfast meal at AlFalayh an local farm full of perennial palms. return to the hotel.to rest . 
• @ 3 pm visit Al Rass city, visit the highest mud tower in town named Burj Al Shanan, and stroll in the farms and parks to enjoy the sunset in a distinctive agricultural environment.

Saturday 23-9-2023

• @ 6 am Enjoy morning walk at local farm in AlBadaya town, breakfast served at the farm. 
• @ 9 am visit the main kitchen of Ajras restaurant, and meet the chef. 
• @ 11am transfer to the train station to depart back to Riyadh @ 12:15 pm 
• @ 12 pm drive back to Riyadh around 3:15 hr (326 km)

 Fee 1125 SAR include: 

• Transfer by comfortable minivan, water, snack box.
• Local tour guide. 
• Dinner meal on arrival day only. 
• Accommodate in 3* hotel, share room with breakfast.
