Dates Season on 8-9 of September 2023

An interesting tourist trip over two days and one night, with accommodation in a local hotel, in which we tour the most important historical landmarks and date markets during the season in Qassim .

 Facts: Qassim is 350 km northwest of Riyadh. It is characterized by its central location between the other regions of the Kingdom and the Arabian Peninsula, with a population of 1,215,858 people, according to the 2010 census. It is considered the crossroads of commercial convoys from several directions, and the pilgrims’ convoys heading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and coming from Iraq and Kuwait pass through it. As a result, its markets have flourished. It includes 13 provinces rich in distinguished heritage, archaeological and historical sites, and the Qassim region is rich in its agricultural environment, palm plantations, and markets for dates and camels. Its cities are: Buraydah, Unaizah, Al-Rass, Al-Mithnab, Bukayriyah, Al-Bada’i, Al-Asyah, Al-Nabhaniya, Uyun Al-Jawa, Riyad Al-Khubra, Al-Shamasiyyah, Qusaiba, Al-Hilalia.

 Itinerary

Day 1 

Departure from Riyadh by train or bus, approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel and rest. At 3:30 in the afternoon, visit Bukereyah Date Market, then stopping at heritage landmarks in town, walking at the farms and parks to the sunset time in a distinctive agricultural environment.

Day 2 

Early morning @ 6 am visit Dates City in Buraydah, enjoy your breakfast meal at local farm. visit the vegetable market, then return to Riyadh, estimated time to arrive at 5 pm
